Things looked bright for Crawfordsville early in their
Wednesday match versus
The Athenians were trading surges down the field with the powerful Warriors.
When Alex Gasoway broke free and scored eight minutes into the opening period,
thoughts of an upset were on everybody’s mind.
It certainly did not turn out that way.
The final was 5-1 and moved
to 4-1-1 on the year. The rally was sparked by a pair of Warrior seniors. Danni
Bishop and Abbie Brewer both scored a pair of goals for the winners.
