This is starting to get monotanous. That is, unless you are
a fan of Crawfordsville softball. The Athenians have thrown back to back
no-hitters. Monday it was Chelsea Day against Seeger. Tuesday it was Stormy
Staton versus conference foe Western Boone. The Athenians downed the Stars 8-0
behind Staton’s effort on the mound.
Crawfordsville used a four run second inning to take a lead
they would never relinquish. The Athenians batted around in the inning, scoring
the runs without benefit of an extra base hit.
The victory keeps Crawfordsville undefeated on the season at
8-0, and improved their Sagamore Conference record to 5-0.
